Shirley Smith – Musical Director

Shirley has been involved in presenting music for more than 45 years. Having graduated from Bristol University, she embarked on a teaching career involving languages and music, in Chippenham & Malmesbury where she was soon busy preparing for school concerts & competitive music festivals as well as being involved in Church music.

Private piano tuition became more important while raising a family & since then she has produced numerous Christian musicals at the United Church, Bradford on Avon, where she is Director of Music.

For six and a half years Shirley was the accompanist of the Silver Ring Choir of Bath, giving concerts in many venues locally as well as the USA, Canada & Europe.
