Welcome

Con Brio is a mixed voice choir of 35 voices They are based in the Wiltshire town of Bradford on Avon and were established in October 2002.

Since then they have performed in a variety of venues around the area including the Guildhall, Bath and the Civic Hall in Trowbridge as well as further a field at Yeovil, Exeter and Witheridge in Devon.

Charities benefiting from their events include Cruse, Childline, & Romanian Orphans as well as local churches & organisations.

Under the baton of Musical Director Shirley Smith & accompanied by Adam Biggs, the choir has a varied repertoire.  Religious music, songs from the shows, spirituals and traditional folk music make up a typical evening's entertainment.

The choir has just returned from a successful trip to Latvia which included concerts and the opportunity for a brief look at the country. This was a major adventure for the choir and ensures that they continue to live up to their name, Con Brio, meaning "lively" & "with vigour". A full report on the tour will appear on the website shortly
